A very fine light brown set, consisting of teapot and 2 small cups. Everything is made of yixing clay, which is the perfect quality of clay. We consciously go for this special types of clay when we can because it is so amazing.  

Yixing clay, also known as "Purple Sand", is a type of clay from the mineral mountains of Yixing in the Eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu. Yixing Teapples has a traditional style that dates from China and dates back to the 1400s.

The clay's mineral composition and structure make Yixing clay tea cans are excellent for maintaining a stable temperature in the teapot. 

The best result is achieved when the tea leaves can flow freely in the teapot during the drawing. This Chinese teapot is equipped with a built -in ceramic filter that filters the tea when serving. When the tea is done, the teapot is completely emptied. The tea leaves will be relatively dry and can be better recycled later.

After use, the teapot should be thoroughly cleaned. Remove the tea leaves and rinse thoroughly with warm water. If necessary, wipe the teapot inside with a soft cloth. Never use detergents, neither inside, nor on the outside of the teapot. The teapot must air dry completely before the lid is applied.

These clay jugs are not glazed, and clay has a kind of 'memory' for aroma and flavor - so to promote the best taste we recommend that you stick to a particular type of tea in these amazing teapots (for example, brew Black tea one day and an aromatic flower tea the next). Choose teas that are a little like each other.
