Rooibos is a South African shrub that grows in the area around Cedarberg in South Africa. During the fermentation of the needles, the distinctive ruby ​​red color emerges. The tea does not contain teein or tannic acid, and it is therefore recommended for children or for tea lovers who want a mild tea for the stomach.
