Acquerello is the first rice that has matured and has its own germ, which means that the nutritional properties of this white rice are the same as with brown rice.
Acquerello-Ris combines the delicate taste of white rice with the nutritional benefits of whole grain rice. The rice matures for at least one year in silos at a controlled temperature of 15 ° C. This process helps the starch stay inside each grain and are not released when cooked, so it is not necessary to toast the rice. Aquerello-risotto is ready for approx. 15 minutes.
