Matcha Kasumi is an ideal matcha for everyday use. Matcha kasumi is the level over the matcha hotaru and has an intense green color in the bowl, very aromatic and the taste is soft and round with a light sweetness that characterizes good mid -range matches.
Matcha - Japanese powder - is the ultimate green tea, made from the freshest and finest gyokuro tea leaves from the first harvest of the year. The leaves are not rolled, but immediately steamed after the harvest and then dried. The dried tea is called Tencha. The tencha is then painted on stone mill for a very fine powder - matcha. It is only this tea used in the traditional Japanese tea ceremony (cha no yu).
The ritual is based on Zen Buddhism's four basic principles: harmony, respect, purity and inner calm.
