This handmade Japanese mino-yaki matcha dish in ceramics is made in Toki City, GIFU Prefectur.

Ceramics, which also include earthenware and stoneware, have a slightly less fine structure than porcelain. Ceramics are also a little more sensitive to shock a porcelain - on the other hand, ceramics are better at keeping warm.  

The glaze may differ slightly from the picture as each bowl is individually made.

Does not tolerate dishwasher.
