This slightly smaller, incredibly beautiful Matcha bowl, also called a "Chawan," has a delicate cream color and is decorated with beautiful red and white flowers. On the inside of the bowl you will find a small floral design which is an extra fine detail. The glaze is neatly 'ironed' on with a brush and everything is done as a handicraft. Since the bowl is also painted by hand, irregularities and small imperfections are appreciated, which are often presented as the 'front' of the bowl. This makes each dish unique and adds character to the design.

The dish holds about 200 ml and is designed with enough space to whip matcha tea with a bamboo whisk (the chases) as well as drink the tea directly from the bowl, making it an indispensable part of the traditional matcha thermonia.

Important: Does not withstand dishwasher or microwave.
