Incredibly beautiful Japanese teacup/tea bowl with saucer is handmade in Japan of white clay and decorated by hand with beautiful blue flowers. Everything is needlework. Inspired by the traditional Chawan, a "tea bowl," the cup is used to both make his tea and drink his tea off. Chawan bowls are found in many variants and are often carefully selected for tea ceremonies.
