Carte Noir is a delicious extra virgin olive oil with a low acid content. The oil is pressed on the olive taggiasca olive, which is the most common olives in Liguria in western Italy close to the French border and Provence. Carte Noir surprises tastefully with clear notes of artichoke, grass and green apples, which in the aftertaste spicy are followed by notes of fresh, bright fruits. The production of carte noir is limited to 15-20,000 bottles annually.
