The teapot has a side handle, which is an incredibly comfortable way to pour tea. It quickly becomes the preferred way to pour your tea.
The teapot is made by the hand of one of the skilled local craftsmen in 'Sandy Brown'.
Kyusu is the term for a special, small Japanese teapot with sideshanges. The teapot has integrated filter, making it perfect for tea brewing because the tea leaves can flow freely.
This kyusu derives from Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture, where local ceramics have used it Especially ferrous soil for the production of beautiful and functional ceramics since the 12th century.
The best result is achieved by letting the tea leaves flow freely in the teapot while the tea pulls. This Japanese teapot is equipped with a fine masked metal filter which filters the tea when serving. When the tea is done, the teapot is completely emptied - the last drop is always the best. The tea leaves will be relatively dry and can be better recycled later.
After use, the teapot should be thoroughly cleaned. Remove the tea leaves and rinse thoroughly with warm water. If necessary, wipe the teapot inside with a soft cloth. Never use detergents, neither inside, nor on the outside of the teapot. The teapot must air dry completely before the lid is applied.
Never use the same tap for very different types of tea as the teapot will absorb aroma when brewing.
