Maintenance
To preserve the quality of the teapot, it is recommended to rinse it with hot water after use and remove all tea leaves. If the filter is clogged, it can be gently cleaned with a dry toothbrush and then rinsed. Wipe the inside with a soft cloth if necessary and let the teapot air dry completely before putting the lid on. It is convenient to use two or more teapots in turn.
Avoid using detergents or dishwashers as this can affect the clay's properties and the absorption of aroma. Also, do not use the teapot for different types of tea as it absorbs flavor and aroma during use. Over time, the teapot will develop a beautiful shine - the more a teapot is used, the brighter it becomes.
History
Kutani ceramics originate from the city of Kutani, now Kaga in Ishikawa, and is one of Japan's best known porcelain styles. This ceramic tradition began in the 17th century and has since been characterized by its bold, bright colors and detailed motifs. The colors and patterns were carefully chosen to bring light and warmth to the homes, and the ceramics have a distinctive lively and colorful style that makes it unique. Today, Kutani ceramics are known for its beauty and detail and has become a symbol of Japanese porcelain production of high quality.
