This matcha bowl or "Chawan" in Brown & Turki's Ceramics has a unique glaze that is developed during the burning, making each bowl unique. The Chawan is an important and indispensable part of a matcha tea ceremony. The most important quality of a matcha bowl is sufficient space to whip the matcha in and drink the tea off.
