Hot tea with gin
We are in love with this little caller, which is a strong alternative to the traditional glühwein or mulled wine: hot tea with star anise, cinnamon, lemon, orange and gin.
1 part tea - we use Assam Jamguri that is a fresh, green tea
1 part of apple cheese
1 part gin - we suggest Belgian 509 or Scottish The Botanist
Star anise
cinnamon
lemon and orange peel
Brew the tea and let it cool down to 80 degrees. Heat the apple maid up to 80 degrees. Measure the tea and warm the apple juice and pour it into a glass. Add gin and garnish with star anise and cinnamon, as well as lemon and orange peel.
